New! Learning Modules
Pediatric Readiness in EDs gained national attention with new research showing that ensuring all EDs are well-prepared to treat children could save 2,143 lives each year. The most effective strategy for improving Pediatric Readiness in EDs? Designating Nurse and Physician Pediatric Champions. The Emergency Medical Services for Children Program has released three learning modules that include step-by-step instructions for evaluating the readiness of your ED and strategies for getting buy-in to develop the Pediatric Champion role The modules are free and open-access.
